Educational Institutions
Your school does not have to be involved in payroll deduction to receive a monthly gift from its financial supporters. eGive encourages monthly giving from the giver's payment account. eGive will enable your supporters to set up giving online and the financial support will be credited electronically to your school's deposit account without having to print and mail out bills that may or may not get paid.
eGive will collect detailed information about the giver (in accordance with our Privacy Policy) that you can utilize to post your giving records and for future campaigns (especially low cost Email campaigns). eGive lets the giver choose the amount and date they wish to give and it happens electronically. eGive encourages monthly donations but will accept one-time donations. Recurring donations can be used to sell scripts for fundraising or to collect monthly, quarterly or annual donations. eGive may also be used to collect tuition. eGive currently only accepts payments for schools within the United States of America. Your school may access reports detailing the gifts by signing into the receiver side of the eGive system. All reports are available as csv (comma separated value) files to further automate the process of posting gifts if your giving accounting software accepts data imports. We also have an API for those that want a custom interface between the eGive database and their software.

How much does eGive cost
There is no setup fee for educational institutions.
ACH Only (Electronic Check Withdrawal)
The monthly fee is $31 plus 20 cents per item. One online donation per month should cover this fee.
Credit and Debit Card Pricing (Acceptance of credit and debit cards is optional)
Offering the option of giving by credit and debit card will increase the amount of electronic gifts that your organization receives. People are used to paying by credit card online.
- No setup fee but you must use ACH giving to accept credit and debit cards.

- The base discount rate (percentage fee) is 1.95% of each gift for qualifying Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards, with a rate of 2.45% for tier 2 cards and 2.95% for tier 3 and business cards. Tier 2 and 3 cards include frequent flyer miles, cash back and rewards cards. Business cards also charge a higher rate. The issuers of these cards typically charge the merchant that accepts the card (your organization) a higher percentage fee so they may pay the card holder the benefits promised.

How eGive works
Place the eGive button on your web site. This button will take your supporter directly to a secure giving form that has your school's name, address, phone number and 75 x 75 pixel logo at the top. (logo is optional). This information and a link to your web site (site link optional) will be placed on the eGive partners page at http://www.egive-usa.com/partners/.
eGive will then debit the Givers payment account. One credit is made weekly to your schools bank account and a online reports give the details of this amount and the information the giver provided.
